Melbourne Minute – Rue & Co

Melbourne has become synonymous with the pop-up – pop-up shops, pop-up bars, pop-up restaurants – you name it! The latest venture to pop-up in the city and form queues around the corner is Rue & Co.

Located at 80 Collins Street, Rue & Co brings together three stalwarts of Melbourne’s dining scene and their exceptionally popular establishments, creating a mini festival of food.

Salvatore Malatesta takes St Ali to the streets serving up his famous coffee, breakfast in the morning and burgers ‘till late.

George Calombaris’ team dishes out souvas by the dozen at Jimmy Grants and Chris Lucas gives punters a sneak peak of the Japanese-Korean BBQ fare that will be on offer at Kong in Richmond when it opens in under a month.

Rue & Co is also home to Australia’s largest street artwork crafted by RONE; a beautiful mural named ‘L’Inconnue De La Rue’, which translates to ‘The Unknown Girl Of The Street’.

Open from 7am until late, Rue & Co will be with us for the next six months or so. And that’s Rue & Co for the Melbourne Minute.
