Melbourne Minute – The Best of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is in full swing, but with almost 500 shows on the calendar it’s hard to know which one to choose! So here’s a couple I have picked out.

Melbourne’s own comedic veteran, Dave ‘Hughsey’ Hughes,  has taken a year off from Channel 10’s The Project and other ventures to focus on his show ‘Pointless’, while another local, Adam Rozenbachs, recounts his year off from alcohol in his knee-slapping performance ‘Breaking Booze’.

The ‘Best of the Edinburgh Fest’ features the hottest new talents to have been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe, while British rapper turned comedian Doc Brown will shed light on hip hop culture, making up the best of the international acts.

The famous Spiegeltent is back in town especially for the Festival at Federation Square, and for the kids, Seussical is a must-see musical comedy based on the works of Dr Seuss.

And that’s the Melbourne International Comedy Festival all wrapped up for the Melbourne Minute
